Marsh Hill Mansion

This is a departure from my usual piano work and an attempt to find a middle ground between my classical-influenced solo piano stuff, and Verdris Moth. I was originally going for something inspired by the atmospheric  gentle background music of fantasy films and games like Skyrim for example, and as it progressed, a vague haunted house story began to make itself apparent. There's a fair amount of exorcism, moving-on, and starting-afresh themes in my mind with this album, and I composed it around the time of getting settled into a new house myself after the worst of Covid had passed, so I suspect that had a lot to do with how this album came about.
